Grand Theft Auto VI launches Thursday, 19 November 2026 on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. It is a single-player story about Jason Duval and Lucia Caminos in the state of Leonida, including a modern-day Vice City. US list prices are $79.99 Standard and $99.99 Ultimate. PC is not listed. A GTA VI Online mode is not listed.

• Pre-load: 12 November 2026, local midnight, digital. Physical code-in-a-box expected for shipping/pickup the same day. No disc.
• Vintage Vice City Pack: With pre-orders and purchases before 20 November 2026 (’55 Vapid Stanier and garage, outfits/hairstyles, exclusive weapon pattern).
• GTA+ month: Digital pre-orders only. Redeemable on current GTA Online / GTA+ Games Library — that is Grand Theft Auto V, not a VI mode. Online

• Series sales figure Take-Two will quote: “over 470 million units sold-in worldwide.”
• Merch: On 24 September 2026 Rockstar opened pre-orders for The Goodtime State – Vice City Collection, a limited merchandise box. The game is sold separately.

Take-Two’s FY2027 net bookings outlook of $8.0–$8.2 billion (7 August 2026) is a company number, not a VI first-week forecast. Zelnick’s “high degree of confidence” around November 19 and “exceptional” pre-orders are CEO language; he declined to quantify pre-orders. Take-Two reports Q2 fiscal 2027 results on Monday 9 November 2026, after market close (Take-Two IR, announced 13 October 2026).

Lucia Caminos: taught to fight by her father; Leonida Penitentiary; out on “sheer luck”; wants the good life her mom dreamed of since Liberty City.

Named supporting cast: Cal Hampton, Boobie Ike, Dre'Quan Priest, Real Dimez (Bae-Luxe and Roxy), Raul Bautista, Brian Heder (wife Lori). Bios: Jason and Lucia. On 14 September 2026, actor Stephen Root confirmed in an AP News interview that he plays Brian Heder, as reported by GameRant; Rockstar has not published a cast list.

Rockstar also calls this “the biggest, most immersive evolution of the Grand Theft Auto series yet.” That is a slogan. It is official. It is not a measurement.

3. An Extended Look — announced 6 August 2026, released 27 August 2026. In-game footage captured on PlayStation 5. ~26 minutes as reported by Netflix / press. Netflix at 3 p.m. ET, then YouTube (tJbzMqJGH4k) and the official site at 9 p.m. ET.
4. Launch Trailer — 15 October 2026, released without prior announcement. 90 seconds, YouTube rz1B4B2yBZY. New music from Justice, named by Rockstar as the game’s score composers; the single is on the announced Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album. See radio and music.

Confirmed: music and radio

• Radio (8 October 2026): Six stations previewed on the Rockstar Newswire and rockstargames.com/VI/music: Cocoteo FM, Back Country Radio, AfroBank FM, The Chamber 106.6, Flash FM, Dirty South Classics. Each has on-air hosts and three preview tracks. radio stations.
• Station range: Rockstar says stations range “from Classic Rock to Talk Radio”, so there are more than six. The total count is not announced.
• Podcasts: In-game podcasts are announced.
• Album: Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album, announced 17 September 2026. 34 original tracks, “Coming November 19”. Score by Justice.

Interviews that are on the record, but are not a spec sheet

Rob Nelson (Dazed, August 2026; Kinda Funny Games as reported 29–30 August): couple-or-solo play; phones on the way to a job; exercise, food, sleep, and benders showing on the body; “No” on generative AI (as reported). GameRant reported he said the single-player would not have microtransactions.

Strauss Zelnick (Bloomberg, early May 2026): “Rockstar always starts on console… you’re judged by serving the core.” Denied that a Sony marketing deal is why PC is missing at launch. Did not announce a PC SKU.

Zelnick (ongoing): Take-Two expects to keep supporting current GTA Online. Business “well over 90% digitally distributed.”

Cite those as interviews and earnings remarks. Do not turn them into a HUD.

Rumor / unconfirmed — do not launder these into the paragraph at the top

• PC release date. Not on any product list. GTA V’s ~18-month gap and RDR2’s ~13-month gap are a pattern, not a promise. System requirements do not exist.
• A new GTA Online / “GTA VI Online.” Launch SKU is single-player. Schreier has reported Rockstar is not planning to talk soon about a successor. That is reporting, not a product page.
• Map area in square miles, “2× Los Santos,” “3× RDR2.” Journalist-attributed comments after 27 August 2026, not a numbered spec on rockstargames.com.
• Full mechanical spec from the Extended Look. Montage, no voiceover. Six-star wanted, clothing and ID, kayaks, gyms, social-media satire: outlet reporting and fan pause-frames. Some of it may match Nelson. Fan add-ons (honor meters, Dead Eye, exact wanted rules) stay unconfirmed.
• 2022 leak and August 2026 “CyberLeek” clips. Unauthorized. Rockstar called recent leaks heartbreaking. Not a source on this site.
• Budget ($1B+), first-week revenue, unit forecasts. Analyst copy. Take-Two’s published number is the company bookings range.
• Voice cast. Stephen Root confirmed playing Brian Heder in an interview on 14 September 2026, as reported by GameRant; Rockstar has not published a cast list. Other names remain unofficial.
• Dan Houser as writer. Left in 2020; told IGN in 2025 he did not write this game.
• PS5 Pro exclusive features, 4K/60, ray tracing modes, file size. Not published.
• Cross-play, 120 fps, photo mode to real Instagram, hunting lists, property empires as Online businesses. Fan extrapolation.
