Rockstar has not published a vehicle list for Grand Theft Auto VI. No page on rockstargames.com/VI or Only in Leonida names an in-game car, bike, boat, or aircraft model. What exists instead is footage: motorcycles, speedboats, muscle cars, pickup trucks, jet skis, small planes, and dirt bikes have all appeared on screen across Trailer 1, Trailer 2, and An Extended Look. Naming those types is sourced to the videos. Naming specific models the way fan sites do — attaching a Rockstar-style in-universe name to a car spotted in a shot — is not something Rockstar has done, and this page does not repeat those guesses as fact.
The one place Rockstar has named vehicles: Ultimate Edition marketing
The single spot where Rockstar has put actual vehicle names in writing is the Ultimate Edition bonus list, published in the 24 June 2026 pre-order materials and Rockstar Support (18 August 2026). That is edition marketing copy, not a general vehicle roster, and it does not describe how any of these handle or where they fit into the story:
- '95 Grotti Cheetah — described in Take-Two's copy as "an ode to Shore Drive."
- Shitzu Squalo — a boat, per the Ultimate item list.
- '67 Vapid Dominator Buggy, with garage — described as offering "off-road handling for the backwoods of Mount Kalaga and beyond."
- Dinka Enduro and a Crest Kayak, named in marketing copy under "Jason's Safehouse Vehicles."
- Classic Car Collection, an unspecified set gated to Ultimate Edition, with no individual models named beyond the collection title.
These names use Rockstar's long-running in-universe car-brand convention (Grotti, Vapid, Dinka, Shitzu are fictional marques the series has used since GTA III), which is itself a signal they are real Rockstar naming, not fan invention. But they are a short, edition-locked bonus list, not a catalogue of what is drivable in the base campaign. Full context on what Ultimate actually includes: editions.
Vehicle types visible in Trailer 1 (December 2023)
Trailer 1 is a tone piece, 1 minute 31 seconds, and shows comparatively little vehicle detail next to the later videos. What is visible across its cuts: sedans and pickup trucks in traffic, a motorcycle, a boat on open water, and background aircraft consistent with a coastal Florida-styled setting. Rockstar's own copy for the trailer does not name any of it.
Vehicle types visible in Trailer 2 (May 2025)
Trailer 2 (2:47) shows a wider spread of vehicle types across its heist and chase sequences: motorcycles ridden by both leads, at least one sports car, a speedboat, a helicopter, jet skis, a small aircraft, and a dirt bike. One sequence shows a vehicle theft directly — Jason reaching a truck and taking a car from it during a chase beat. None of these are named on screen or in Rockstar's accompanying copy; the type descriptions above come from watching the trailer itself, which is the only sourcing this page uses for Trailer 2 vehicles. A fuller shot-by-shot read of the trailer is in the Trailer 2 breakdown.
Vehicle types visible in An Extended Look (August 2026)
The 26-minute Extended Look, "captured entirely from in-game footage on PlayStation 5" per Rockstar, shows by far the widest range, consistent with being a montage of open-world activities rather than a story trailer. Outlets that watched the film (IGN, Eurogamer, The Verge, Engadget) reported on-screen activities that involve vehicles: street and track racing, dirt bikes, jet skis, kayaking, and fan boats, alongside general open-world traffic and chase footage. Eurogamer additionally described Lime-style rental scooters appearing in city scenes, consistent with the present-day setting's social-media-and-city-infrastructure satire. As with the trailer descriptions above, this is what outlets and this site observed in the released footage, not a Rockstar-published activity or vehicle list. See An Extended Look for the fuller breakdown of what that film does and does not confirm.
What is not confirmed: specific model names from footage
Multiple fan wikis and vehicle-tracking sites publish long lists claiming to identify every car spotted in leaked or official footage by its in-game model name — "Declasse [X]," "Vapid [Y]," and so on — sometimes citing counts approaching or exceeding 200 vehicles. Rockstar has not published a vehicle roster of that kind, and this site's house rule is explicit: fan model identifications from frame-by-frame footage review are not a source. A car that looks like a real-world 1970s muscle car does not have a confirmed in-game name until Rockstar, an in-game badge, or an official credits document says so. Where a real vehicle badge is visibly legible in official footage, that is a stronger claim than a fan's stylistic guess — but Rockstar has not published a legend confirming any of those readings either, so this page does not list them as fact.
The 2022 development leak and the August 2026 leak clips are excluded entirely from this page's sourcing, consistent with this site's policy on unauthorized footage: it is not used here to identify or confirm vehicles, regardless of what fan communities have done with it elsewhere.
What the confirmed activity list implies about vehicle range
Even without model names, the confirmed activity types across the three official videos point at a wide vehicle category range: land vehicles (cars, trucks, motorcycles, dirt bikes), water vehicles (speedboats, jet skis, kayaks, fan boats), and air vehicles (helicopters, small planes). That range is consistent with, though not larger than what has been reported for, prior mainline Grand Theft Auto titles, and matches Rob Nelson's Dazed interview description (August 2026) of activities like exercise, water sports, and general open-world traversal being part of the character-body and lifestyle systems Rockstar has discussed. See Jason and Lucia for what is confirmed about those characters and interviews.
FAQ
Has Rockstar released a GTA 6 vehicle list?
No general list. The only named vehicles are a short set of Ultimate Edition bonus items (Grotti Cheetah, Shitzu Squalo, Vapid Dominator Buggy, and others).
What cars are shown in the trailers?
Types only: sedans, a sports car, pickup trucks, and motorcycles across both trailers. No model names are confirmed from trailer footage itself.
Are there boats and aircraft?
Yes, by type: speedboats, jet skis, a helicopter, and small aircraft have all appeared in official videos.
Are fan-identified vehicle names accurate?
Unverifiable from official sources. This site does not treat fan frame-by-frame identification as confirmed.
Is the Ultimate Edition vehicle list the same as the base game's vehicles?
No. It is a small, edition-gated bonus set, not a roster of everything drivable.
How many vehicles will GTA 6 have?
Unannounced. Fan counts circulating online (some over 200) are not sourced to Rockstar.
What we still don't know
- Any vehicle model name outside the Ultimate Edition bonus list.
- A total vehicle count for the base game.
- Whether real-world vehicle brands or liveries appear, versus the series' usual fictional marques.
- How Ultimate Edition vehicles differ mechanically from anything available in Standard.
- Whether any vehicle seen in trailer or Extended Look footage is unique to a mission versus freely drivable in the open world.
